Terms and Conditions - TravelHealth Planner

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using TravelHealth Planner (the iOS app, Android app, or website - together, "the Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service is operated by Badexy Technologies, LLC ("we", "us", "the Company"), located at 5726 Lake Cyrus Blvd, Hoover, AL 35244, U.S.A.

2. What the Service is - and isn't

TravelHealth Planner helps you plan for a trip's health preparation: it generates a vaccine/medication schedule based on your destination and departure date, gives you a country-specific prep checklist, sends reminders, shows local emergency numbers, and offers an AI assistant for travel health questions.

The Service provides general information only. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace consultation with a licensed physician or travel clinic. Nothing in the app - including the AI assistant's responses, the generated vaccine schedule, or the destination guides - is a diagnosis or a personalized medical recommendation. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about vaccines, medications, or travel health precautions, especially if you are pregnant, traveling with children, elderly, or managing a chronic condition.

The AI assistant is a large-language-model-based tool (currently powered by OpenAI). Its responses can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on it for anything where being wrong could harm your health or safety.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and entering trip/medical details - the Service's usefulness (dose timing, emergency contact info) depends on what you enter being accurate.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at info@badexytechnologies.com and change your password.

4. Your content

"Your content" means anything you enter into the Service: trip details, checklist progress, medical details, messages to the AI assistant, and account information.

  • You retain ownership of your content.
  • You grant us a license to use your content solely to operate the Service for you (e.g. generating your dose schedule, displaying your medical details back to you, sending it to the AI assistant when you chat).
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, particularly medical details used on the Emergency screen - we display exactly what you provide, without independent verification.
  • Don't enter anyone else's personal or medical information without their permission.

5. Destination and health content

Destination guidance (vaccine recommendations, disease risk information, food and water safety guidance) is reviewed by a licensed physician affiliated with the Company. It is provided for general informational purposes only, is not a substitute for consulting your own healthcare provider, and does not account for your individual medical history.

6. Pricing

The Service is currently free to use, with no subscription or in-app purchase.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal, or in a way that could harm the Service, other users, or third parties.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
  • Send abusive, harmful, or illegal content to the AI assistant, or attempt to use it outside its intended travel-health-assistance purpose.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying destination content, vaccine-schedule logic, or AI system prompts for competitive or commercial reuse.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure (e.g. attempting to overwhelm the AI chat endpoint, exploiting rate limits).

8. Termination and account deletion

  • You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. This requires re-entering your password to confirm, and is not reversible from within the app.
  • Deleting your account permanently deletes your medical details immediately. Other account data is deactivated per the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, or if required by law.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, ITS DESTINATION CONTENT, ITS GENERATED VACCINE SCHEDULES, OR ITS AI ASSISTANT'S RESPONSES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC MEDICAL SITUATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BADEXY TECHNOLOGIES, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF HEALTH, SAFETY, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
